For data-protection purposes, Aaron Rookwood trading as OpsKit Studio is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.
How to contact us
For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, contact:

What personal information we use
Depending on the circumstances, we may process:
- your name;
- your job title or professional role;
- the organisation you work for;
- your business email address;
- business telephone details where relevant;
- publicly available professional information relevant to your role;
- the source from which the information was obtained;
- correspondence between you and OpsKit Studio; and
- records of objections, opt-outs and suppression preferences.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive or special-category personal information for business-development purposes.
Where we obtain the information
We may obtain business-contact information from legitimate public business sources, including:
- company websites;
- official team, leadership and contact pages;
- Companies House;
- recognised professional or industry directories;
- public professional profiles that clearly relate to a person's business role; and
- information provided directly by you or your organisation.
The fact that information is publicly available does not remove our responsibility to use it fairly and proportionately.
Why we use the information
We use relevant business-contact information to:
- make limited and proportionate business-to-business introductions concerning OpsKit Studio workflow services;
- contact people whose professional roles appear relevant to those services;
- respond to enquiries and manage business correspondence;
- evaluate whether our services are relevant to particular organisations; and
- record objections or opt-outs so that we do not contact people or organisations again where they have asked us not to.
Our lawful basis
Our lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interests.
Our legitimate interests are to identify and communicate with organisations that may reasonably benefit from relevant operational workflow services and to develop OpsKit Studio through proportionate business-to-business activity.
When relying on legitimate interests, we take steps to reduce the effect on individuals, including:
- selecting contacts whose professional roles are relevant;
- using public business information rather than unrelated personal information;
- limiting the number and frequency of communications;
- avoiding sensitive information;
- providing a straightforward way to object;
- acting promptly on objections; and
- maintaining minimal suppression records to prevent repeat contact.
Where electronic-marketing rules require consent or another specific condition, legitimate interests does not replace that requirement.
Who may receive the information
Your information may be accessed by Aaron Rookwood and by service providers used to operate necessary business systems, including providers of:
- business email;
- document and file storage;
- website hosting;
- domain services; and
- other essential operational technology genuinely used by OpsKit Studio.
These providers may process information only to the extent necessary to provide their services.
International transfers
Some service providers may store or access personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, OpsKit Studio relies on an applicable safeguard recognised under UK data-protection law where required. Further information about relevant safeguards is available on request.
How long we keep the information
We retain prospect and outreach information while relevant business-development activity remains active and review it for deletion when it is no longer commercially relevant.
Business correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for business, evidential or legal purposes.
Minimal suppression information may be kept for as long as OpsKit Studio continues relevant marketing activity. This is necessary to remember and respect an objection and prevent the person, email address, firm or domain from being added to a future contact list.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
- object at any time to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.
The right to object to direct marketing is absolute. Once a valid objection is received, we will stop using the relevant personal information for direct marketing.
We may retain a minimal suppression record rather than deleting every record, solely to ensure that the objection continues to be respected.

Please raise privacy concerns with us first using:

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data-protection regulator, through its official website and contact channels.
